The Products for Reading with Babies and Toddlers Program

Since birth, the child gets every single word he hears from the speaking or reading of his parents. Every word uttered or read to a baby makes a connection in his brain which leads to brain growth. When you read and read a book to a baby, his brain absorbs the information which is going to be his literacy basics in future. Reading aloud to a baby is the best investment for his education especially for his future success in reading.

When you hold the baby in your arms and you read to him, the baby enjoys the most, being close to you and feeling your warmth beside listening to words, sounds and rhythms uttered by you. Experiencing this joy while reading helps him to enjoy a lifelong love of books and reading.

Most of the families do not know how to make a verbal communication with their children which can be very important in forming their future. They also do not know how to communicate with their babies and toddlers.

The Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature has designated the “Reading with Babies and Toddlers program” as a reading promotion plan since birth. In the framework of this program, some books and other products have been presented for parents and tutors in order to lead them through the right way of reading with babies and toddlers.
