Read with Me in Kerman Province
The “Read with Me” program started its activities in Bam in 2012.
In November 2015, a number of schools in Sirjan, joined the “Read with Me” program with the support of Me’raj-e-Andishe. Overall, 25 instructors in 20 primary schools and more than 1870 children from 1st through 3rd grades were covered.
In the academic year 2016-2017, the “Read with Me” program continued in Sirjan schools. 93 teachers in 26 elementary schools with 2,538 1st through 3rd grade students enjoyed the quality books and program instructions. In 2017-2018, the “Read with Me” program continued its activity for the third consecutive year through covering 300 students.
Jiroft is another area in Kerman which has joined “Read with Me” by the support of Omran Azarestan Co. 15 preschool and 15 primary school teachers are running the program for 670 students after participating in the workshops.
