Read with Me Project in Gilan Province
“Read with Me” experts travelled to Lahijan, Gilan province to review the feasibility of implementing this program, visiting Fatemeh Poorkhesalian School which was proposed for the program and interviewing the education authorities. After examining the educational conditions in this primary school and meeting with the members of the School Board, under the supervision of Hossein Poorkhesalian (the supporter of this program in Lahijan) the plans to set up a child-centered library for students in the first and second grade of primary school and implementing the “Read with Me” program in Gilan began.
