“Read with Me” arrived at Fars Province in 2014 for the first time. In this year, following the invitation of the founder of “Shamim Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Knowledge and Development”, ten volunteers from Forg district of Darab city were invited to attend the “Read with Me” workshops to become familiar with Reading Aloud, using art in making children interested in reading and Child-centered Creative Education.
In 2017, 10 schools in Larestan City joined the program by establishing school libraries and participating in Read with Me workshops. As a result, a total of 2,000 children were covered by the “Read with Me” program.
