In the academic year of 2016-2017, in Qasr-e-Shirin district, 600 first to sixth grade children joined the “Read with Me” program with the support of Ms. Parvin Eskandari. Nineteen educators participated in two workshops. They became familiar with children’s literature, quality books, Reading Aloud and book-related activities, story elements and a variety of Dramatic Arts activities associated with reading. On February and May2017, “Read with Me” experts visited the covered schools in the area after having held the workshops in two rounds, and evaluated the work of the educators and the implementation of the program.
