Orphans received gifts for Nowrouz from “Read With Me”

In the last days of Iranian Year (March 2015) The Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature  (IRHCL)  and Fund  for Education & Empowerment of Working Children sent book packages as new year gift for about 80 orphans. These children who are kept in Ameneh Nursery, Hasti Javdan Boys Charity and Khaneh Mehr Girls Charity were under the “Read With Me” cover in the past year. “Read With Me” aim by sending these books was to help 56 children in Ameneh Nursery, 16 children in Khaneh Mehr Girls Charity and 15 children in Hasti Javdan Boys Charity to have quality books in Nowrouz and new year. Ameneh Nursery which is under the supervision of Shemiranat State Welfare Organization keeps children between 0 to 7 years old which consists orphans and some other children whose parents are not qualified to keep a baby. “Read With Me” experts perform Reading Aloud and Learning Sounds programs for some of these children. In two other centers, Hasti Javdan and Khaneh Mehr which are dormitories located in Karaj for Orphan children and adults, Reading Books Sessions are held by tutors trained by “Read With Me” expert.
