Read with Me in the second conference of Development and Educational Justice
In the second Conference of Development and Educational Justice which was held on 29-30 November in Allame Amini Hall in Tehran University,the Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature was present by introducing Read with Me project and its motto: “All children have the right to read quality books.” In the institute’s booth where Creative Education Books and pictures and documents from Read with Me project had been exhibited, the institute’s experts and partners were present and answered the questions of visitors. Our experts in this booth introduced Read with Me project which insists on Reading Aloud of Quality books with children and it is one of the most successful national programs in making quality books available for underserved children and book promotion among them. Read with Me project is nominated for Asahi Reading Promotion Award 2016 from Iran and it was also praised in the first Book Promoters’ Appreciation Conference last year.
۲۴ active non-governmental organizations in the field of children’s education participated in the second Conference of Development and Educational Justice. The purpose of holding this conference was to increase the cooperation of non-governmental organizations, governmental policy makers, companies with social accountability and the media.
