Various sections of Khansar Library (Sadr-ol-Vaezin)
Reading with Babies and Toddlers room
In this library, a room is dedicated to book reading for mothers with their children up to the age of three. In this room, the books of this age-group are accompanied by adult books which guide parents how to read with their babies and toddlers and acquaint them with children growth stages.
Reading Aloud Hall
In this section of Khansar Library, reading aloud sessions will be held for children of different age-groups. A wall in this part is decorated with an illustration of a “Reading child” by the outstanding Dutch illustrator, Marit Törnqvist.
Book-related activity room
In this room, painting and working tools are available to children, and they can work in this room before or after reading (freely or with the program that the librarian has for them).
The quality books of Khansar Library are categorized with colorful labels tailored to the age group of children and adolescents and each member can visit this section to find their favorite books.
The library also welcomes the presence of parents along with their children and adolescents in all age groups, and there are spaces in the library for parents and children so that family members can spend time on reading with each other.
