The second Read with Me conference and Jabbar Baghcheban Award
The Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature will hold the second biennial Read with Me conference and Jabbar Baghcheban Award in November 2018 in the Treasure Hall of the National Library and Archives of I.R. of Iran. The event is sponsored by Omran Azarestan Construction Co.
The conference will be held on 15 November 2018, on the occasion of Book, Reading and Librarian Day in Iran. The motto of this conference will be: “Read with me gives us wings”.
The conference include these topics:
- Achievements and challenges of Reading Promotion in Iran
- Screening of documentaries about the Read with Me project
- Jabbar Baghcheban Award Presentation
In this conference, thirteen selected teachers from remote and deprived areas of Iran will receive Jabbar Baghcheban Award. The award is founded by supports from Omran Azarestan Construction Co. and is given biennially to teachers and promoters who have implemented Reading-Aloud and Basic Literacy Improvement Programs in the framework of Read with Me project with creativity.
