با من بخوان

Following the successful feedback from the first group of mothers & babies in the Hasse area of Isfahan city, a second group of mothers and babies has joined the “reading with babies and toddlers program”.

This second group also consists of a number of mothers with babies, pregnant women and even young girls interested in the program, which is organized by the Isfahan Association of Friends of Children’s Books in the Hasse area. Similar to the first group, the agenda began with several training sessions for mothers to familiarize themselves with the role and the importance of reading to babies and toddlers, its impact on their babies’ growth in future, and tips for reading to children.

In the second part of the program, with the financial support of a number of benefactors in Isfahan, participants received bags containing the book Baby Read-Aloud Basics, two educational soft play cubes with images, and a set of six board books of My First Library. During these educational sessions, mothers learn how to use the contents of the bags in the best interests of their babies.

“reading with babies and toddlers program” is implemented within the framework of Read with Me program. The scientific and practical foundations of this plan are based on the guidelines of the book Baby Read-Aloud Basics: Fun and Interactive Ways to Help Your Little One Discover the World of Words, written by Carolyn Blake Moore and Barbara Weston Ramirez. This book, translated by Zohreh Ghaeni , is published by the Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature in line with the objectives of the RWM program.

This plan is a practical guideline in simple language for young parents to learn how to use Baby Read-Aloud Basics for the comprehensive growth of their children, and help them to know the pleasure of reading.
