Yar-e-Mehraban Library, New Addition to Read with Me Libraries

Yar-e-Mehraban Read with Me Library was established this September. Located at an elementary school in Arak, Markazi province, this library is host to more than 400 students from nearby schools.

Yar-e-Mehraban Library has a child-centered design and a rich literacy environment. It has more than 1000 books. Ms. Kasraei’s financial support made this endeavor possible.

The teachers and librarians of this elementary school are meant to participate in the Online Read with Me Read-aloud courses. In this training program, they will learn about children’s literature, story elements, children’s book illustrations, quality books and read-aloud techniques. With the knowledge they gain, they can share the joy of reading with children much more beautifully.
