Keep Children in School Foundation Libraries restart their activities

Many schools and educational centers were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, it could not put an end to children reading books. Several months into the spread of coronavirus, after significant improvement in the pandemic situation, the children of Kermanshah province are finally able to visit libraries.
Read with Me libraries switched to online activities since March 2020. Some sought out ways to deliver books to children’s homes using health protocols. A few weeks ago, a number of Read with Me libraries restarted their activities inside the library space. These include the libraries in Kermanshah (Rijab, Salas Babajani, Javanroud and Zalaan) which are supported by the Keep Children in School Foundation (KCIS).
Children visit the libraries using face masks and with health considerations. They lend books, read books and participate in read-aloud sessions. Once again, the libraries are full of joy.
Read with Me started its activities in Kermanshah since 5 years ago and reinforced its presence in the region after the Earthquake of November 2017. Rijab, Salas Babajani and Javanroud libraries are three libraries established with financial support from KCIS. KCIS also supports Zalaan Library since October 2020. Zalaan Library was established by Read with Me Fan Club.
