”Memorials of Reading with Each Other” Photography Competition in Sazvar Sazeh Azarestan Company

Sazvar Sazeh Azarestan Library has invited families to take pictures of pure moments of reading with their children and take part in “Memorials of Reading with Each Other” Photography Competition in order to encourage and promote reading.

The subjects which can be led into this competition are as followed:

• Child or group of children while reading
• Family while reading book
  • Mother reading with her child or children
  • Father reading with his child or children
  • Parents reading with their child or children
  • Siblings reading next to each other
  • The whole family reading next to each other

Also, a booklet has been prepared and delivered to families by experts. In this booklet, families learn how to take pictures correctly for this competition. The families can send their pictures during two months (Mid June – Mid August) by Telegram Messenger for the company’s library and if they do not have access to virtual networking they can deliver their pictures to librarians on CDs or other External Devices.

Also before this event, the book reading Competition “The Book I Like Most” was held in February-March 2016 in Sazvar Sazeh and Omran Azarestan Company which brought lots of excitement and enthusiasm into the library and on 1 May, International Workers’ Day, the prizes for selected children were delivered to their fathers by Read with Me project and the company’s library.

By the implementation of Read with Me project in Sazvar Sazeh Azarestan Company in ۲۰۱۴, since October this year, Sazvar Sazeh Azarestan Library has started its activity with more than 4000 quality books in a new space and all the workers and employees can choose and borrow their children’s necessary books by consulting librarians and experts at this library. In addition to books for children and young adults, there are books for parents on the subjects like Psychology, Education and Training and Reading Promotion in this library.
