World Kamishibai Day Pictorial Report
This year, reading promoters and enthusiasts accepted the invitation to World Kamishibai Day. By performing kamishibai and follow-up activities, they celebrated this occasion alongside the rest of the world.
Alongside the International Kamishibai Association of Japan (IKAJA), the Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature of Iran invited reading and storytelling enthusiasts to celebrate World Kamishibai Day on December 7th.
IKAJA has established this occasion since 2018, and believes that World Kamishibai Day creates the opportunity to spread the joy of kyokan (the sharing of feelings) and live life together in peace.
